The Election Song Contest 2010 final will take place at Darbucka in Clerkenwell on 5th May.

And well, well, well – I’m playing… eek! Here’s me:

It’ll be much like that, I imagine (that is, error-prone, husky and poor singing and plenty of chin) only more so, because I’ve got a bit of a cold/chest thing going on. But it should be fun – some of the other entrants are pretty good, and there are a few proper acts to round off an evening of electoral comedy and music and that.

Come along if you can, ’tis only £7. Doors open at 7pm I think.

The Election Song Contest  is hotting up, with loads of entries… some daft, some daft but good, and some just good. For some reason there are songs scattered randomly across a number of sites:

And there’s this, from me, which doesn’t seem to feature on much of the above:

Check out the links and songs… there’s an election night party planned where a winner will be chosen, apparently…

asciiportalASCIIpOrtal, the free and funky game by Joe Larson, has been entered for the Independent Game Festival (IGF) 2010 awards.

Why do I/why should you care?

  • ASCIIpOrtal is a very playable little puzzle game with a great sense of atmosphere
  • It’s free and has some nice little game mechanics and suchlike
  • I did the sounds and music

Check it out at  www.cymonsgames.com/asciiportal and if you have any strong positive opinions, make noise about it and let’s see if we can keep the profile nice and high and IGF judge-visible :]

For more info about the music, go here (work in progress page with some additional downloads).
